Hivebrowser ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our cloud browser platform and related services.
Information We Collect
Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and password (securely hashed). We may also collect your name and organization details.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about your use of the service, including session durations, API calls, storage usage, and feature interactions. This data is used for billing, analytics, and service improvement.
Browser Session Data: Browser sessions run on our infrastructure. We do not inspect or log the content of your browsing sessions. Profile data (cookies, local storage) is stored encrypted and accessible only to your team.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
How We Use Your Information

Data Retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active, then deleted within 90 days of account closure
- Session logs: retained for 30 days (Free), 90 days (Starter/Pro), or 180 days (Scale)
- Profile data: deleted within 7 days of your delete request or account closure
- Artifact data (screenshots, recordings): deleted within 7 days of expiry or your delete request
- Billing records: retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations
- Audit logs: retained for 1 year for security and compliance purposes
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@hivebrowser.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
EU/UK residents are protected under the GDPR. California residents are protected under the CCPA. We do not sell personal information.
Sub-processors
We rely on the following third-party providers to operate the service:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Volcengine TOS — object storage (browser profiles, artifacts)
- Aliyun DirectMail — transactional email
- Cloudflare — content delivery and DDoS protection

International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in regions where our infrastructure providers operate. We use Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for cross-border transfers where required.
